Supported living is one type of support to help you live in your home.
At We care nursing services we uphold the core values of an anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive approach in providing support and guidance to people. We also promote diversity and ensure sure that each young person’s values are upheld and respected within our service delivery. We have mutual expectations for our young people and our staff to respect people’s values in regards to religion, culture, race, sexuality, sexual orientation, disabilities and impairments. We deliver services that respect young people’s dignity privacy.
We understand that people need to be in a safe and nurturing environment to thrive in their health and develop. Therefore, we always ensure that are our accommodations are clean, safe, and comfortable. We provide an environment that empower people to exercise decision making, achieve independence and understand their human rights.
Support and advice
We recognise that people benefit from support and guidance during to help them develop
independence. We support each person based on their individual needs and according and to their
personalised support package. The level of support that are offered is determined by their assessed
needs and risks.
Our support packages include:
- Support and guidance in undertaking day to day tasks
- Support and guidance in education, training and employment
- Support and guidance in sustaining a safe and stable environment
- Support and guidance managing finances and benefit claims
- Facilitating the development of transitional skills i.e. budgeting and household maintenance
- Support and guidance in community integration and utilising community resources to maintain a healthy wellbeing
- Support and guidance in attending and managing appointments.
- Provision of a keyworker for each young person with therapeutic 1:1 session
- Out of hours support

Placements
We care nursing services has a 24-hour emergency service. We can accommodate people on a emergency placement basis. We offer this service to young people who need immediate accommodation until a placement plan is ratified. People placed on this basis will also be offered guidance and support that will prepare them to transition to the most suitable accommodation to meet their needs.
We care nursing services provides houses that can accommodate 2-3 young people at a time. Our houses are fully furnished and are maintained to the highest standard. Staff are available onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support for young people accommodated by us. We offer support and accommodation on short term and long-term basis depending on the needs of the young person.
